Grants are now open for UK Kidney Week 2025
This covers the cost of registration only; travel and expenses will need to be funded separately.
To apply for the award applicants must be:
- Either employed in or studying a renal specialism
- A member of the UKKA for a minimum of 3 months.
- In one of the following positions;
- MPT
- Renal trainee
- Scientist
- Have had an abstract accepted for UK Kidney Week 2025.
This grant is not open to retired professionals, patients, or charity representatives.
*MPT is defined as persons in these job roles only: nurse, dietician, occupational therapist, pharmacist, physiotherapist, psychologist/psychotherapist, social worker, technician
Priority will be given to those who have presented or plan to present at UK Kidney Week.
Applicants should send to the UKKA secretariat (ukka@ukkidney.org);
- a short letter explaining why the applicant considers that he/she should receive this award
- a mini-CV (no longer than two A4 sides, highlighting relevant publications, the date the applicant joined the UK Kidney Association and current state of membership, their current location)
- a list of presentations made at UKKA meetings
The deadline for applications for UKKW 2025 is 30 April 2025.
Documents should be in PDF format and the UKKA Secretariat will acknowledge receipt of applications.
GSK have no influence over the evaluation of applicants and require no information management of this grant.
