Calling All Nephrology Trainees: Pitch Your National Project Idea Are you a nephrologist in training with an audit or research question that could benefit from national collaboration? NEPHwork invites you to propose their next national project. They welcome enthusiastic ideas; previous research experience is not essential.

How to Get Involved

  • Submit Your Proposal: Craft a project idea that is relevant to trainee nephrologists, feasible on a national scale, and inclusive of all age groups.
  • Deadline: Submit your proposal by 5 pm on 14 April 2025.
  • Selection Process: Three shortlisted proposals will be invited to pitch their ideas to a panel of nephrology experts during the NEPHwork Dragon’s Den session at UK Kidney Week in Bournemouth on 10 June 2025.

About NEPHwork

Supported by the UK Kidney Association and Kidney Research UK, NEPHwork is a national network led by Specialist Registrars (SpRs). They focus on developing, coordinating and delivering audit and research projects nationally by harnessing kidney trainees’ collective efforts.

UK Kidney Association members can save up to £280 on their registration and receive discounts on other kidney events throughout the year. Spaces for the conference dinner are limited and must be booked in advance.
